treatment and recovery center. This group facilitates the active

Morgan, Columbia Heights and Mount Pleasant in Washington DC. Neighbors’

Obstacles
The communication challenges faced
Neighbors’ Consejo recently moved into a new facility and
expanded the number of people served. As a growing and changing
organization, they are challenged by a bevy of communications needs
all at once. They endeavor to make their presence known within the
neighborhood and expand their visibility.
Solution
The steps and solution taken by the CreateAThon team
A vibrant and colorful design for new signage was developed to convey
empowerment, dignity, engagement and hope. The goal of the designs
was to make the new expanded facility appear to be a welcoming,
inviting space.
