Summary background of the organization
The collective’s mission is to meet the self-defined needs of women and their families living with and at risk for HIV/AIDS, reducing barriers to care, and strengthening their network of support and services.

Obstacles
The communication challenges faced
They needed a brochure that communicated their services to potential clients and potential donors. This brochure would be used at events and for other purposes too. A template for a newsletter was needed to assist in delivering this publication with more frequency.

Solution
The steps and solution taken by the CreateAThon team
The CreateAThon team designed and wrote the brochure to communicate the key messages of warmth, empowerment of their women-focused, peer-based, and family-centered organization. It features colorful stripes representing the diversity of women. In addition, the logo was refreshed to make it more reflective of the population the organization serves. The newsletter template was designed to reflect the look of the brochure in both the color and black and white versions with a flexible grid to house multiple content combinations.
