Ramona’s Way is a counseling and case management provider focused on helping women who are the victims of domestic and/or substance abuse. The organization is dedicated to providing a holistic approach to helping women regain control over their lives and recover.

Obstacles
The communication challenges faced
The materials being used by the organization to communicate with outside entities were full of information but contained too much information to be used for all audiences. A new approach to their most-used materials would help make it into a piece that could be well-received by donors, clients, and advocates alike.

Solution
The steps and solution taken by the CreateAThon team
The consultant worked with the representative from Ramona’s Way to prioritize the information based on audience so that the information that was important to the reader and the information that was important for Ramona’s Way to communicate were both represented in a balanced way. The information was reworked so that it would be both clear and succinct, communicating the most important messages with much less text.
